Great to meet you!

Maybe you've been pushing through long enough that exhaustion just feels normal now, or you're a teenager who feels like no one actually gets what's going on in your head. I work with adolescents of any gender and with adult women and nonbinary clients who are managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or the heavy weight of grief and life transitions, including the ups and downs of the perinatal period. I'm an LGBTQ ally and I approach neurodivergence as something to affirm, not fix. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest about what isn't working without feeling judged for it.

My approach to therapy

In our work together we'll focus on finding the coping strategies that actually fit your life, not generic advice that ignores your real circumstances. I believe you already have strengths within you, and my job is to help you see them and put them to use when anxiety, ADHD, or depression make that hard to access on your own. I also have specific experience supporting women through the perinatal period and through grief, loss, and major life transitions. We'll work at a pace that respects where you are, and you'll walk away with practical tools you can actually use between sessions, not just more to think about. I tend to work best with clients who want an active partner in their own growth rather than someone who just listens and nods.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just a conversation. I'll ask what brought you to therapy now, what you've tried before, and what has or hasn't helped, so we can build from there instead of starting over. If at any point it doesn't feel like the right fit, that's okay too. You deserve a therapist you actually trust, and I'd rather you find that person than stay somewhere that isn't working. If any of this sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
