Hi, my name is Shauna Goodenough and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I enjoy working with a variety of ages, with a focus on teens and young adults. My style is warm and supportive. I value client education and skill building to effect change.
I use an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment-based, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship can create a space to gain insight and create positive change.
First sessions are used to familiarize us with each other and learn more about what has brought you to therapy. Goal setting should be client-driven. I can support you with articulating what or how you would like areas of your life to be different.
