Great to meet you!

I believe in the power of being truly heard. As a therapist, I bring a warm and open-minded approach to every session, creating a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

My practice is solution-oriented—I’m here to help you identify practical strategies and paths forward that work for your unique situation. Rather than dwelling on problems, we’ll focus on building the skills and insights you need to create meaningful change in your life.

I see my role as an empowerer. You are the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you recognize your strengths, trust your instincts, and tap into your own resilience. Together, we’ll work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.

I’m an affirming presence who values collaboration and believes in your capacity for growth. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

Affirming, Empowering, Open-minded, Warm, and Solution-oriented

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other and creating a comfortable foundation for our work together. Here’s what typically happens:

A Warm Welcome

I’ll greet you with warmth and openness, helping you feel at ease. This is your space, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.

Being Heard

I’m a great listener, and your first session is primarily about you. I’ll ask questions to understand what brings you to therapy, what you’re experiencing, and what you’re hoping to achieve. There’s no judgment here—just genuine curiosity about your story.

Collaborative Goal-Setting

Together, we’ll explore what you’d like to work on and what positive changes you’re seeking. Because I’m solution-oriented, we’ll start identifying what success looks like for you, even in this first meeting.

Understanding My Approach

I’ll explain how I work and answer any questions you have about therapy. You’ll get a sense of my affirming, empowering style and how we’ll work as partners in your growth.

Practical Next Steps

By the end of our session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how I can support you and what our path forward might look like.

Remember: There’s no “right” way to do a first session. Come as you are, and we’ll take it from there.
