Great to meet you!

If you're carrying the weight of unresolved trauma, family conflict that never seems to settle, or old coping habits around substance use that you're ready to change, you're in the right place. I've spent more than 20 years in human services, working alongside people navigating anger, anxiety, addiction, and the kind of family strain that makes it hard to feel steady. My approach starts with who you already are, not what's wrong with you, and helps you find practical, sustainable ways to move forward. Clients tell me my space feels warm, nonjudgmental, and honest, one where you don't have to have it all figured out before you walk in.

My approach to therapy

My sessions draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Harm Reduction, tailored to what you actually need rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. I lean trauma-informed and strengths-based, which means the pace is yours to set and my goal is always to build on strengths you already have. Expect practical coping tools you can use between sessions, honest conversation about what's working and what isn't, and space to work toward goals that matter to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is a conversation, not an evaluation. I'll ask what brought you to therapy and your immediate concerns, no judgment, no pressure to have the right words. Together we'll start naming your strengths and sketching out what you want therapy to help you achieve. By the end of the hour, you'll have a personalized starting point built around insight and coping skills that stick.
