Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I am deeply committed to helping individuals and families heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. My work is grounded in trauma-centered therapy, recognizing that many emotional and behavioral challenges are rooted in experiences that deserve compassion, understanding, and skilled support.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families, helping them navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and the impact of trauma. I believe therapy should be a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). By combining these approaches, I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs, helping them build practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and lasting change.

For me, mental health work is more than a profession—it is a calling and a purpose. I genuinely enjoy walking alongside people in their healing journey and believe that with the right support, every person has the capacity for growth and transformation.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make the process feel safe, supportive, and empowering from the very first session. When you work with me, you can expect a space where you are truly heard, respected, and understood.

In our sessions, we will begin by exploring what has brought you to therapy and what goals you hope to achieve. I take time to understand your personal experiences, family dynamics, and life challenges so that treatment is tailored specifically to you. My approach is collaborative, meaning we work together to identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and build practical tools that support your growth.

Because much of my work is trauma-centered, I approach each client with compassion and sensitivity. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on healing without judgment. When appropriate, I integrate evidence-based methods such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help you process difficult experiences, regulate emotions, and create healthier thought and behavior patterns.

Whether you are navigating stress, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, or personal growth, therapy with me is designed to help you:

  • Gain deeper insight into yourself and your experiences
  • Develop healthier coping and emotional regulation skills
  • Strengthen relationships and communication
  • Build resilience and confidence in facing life’s challenges

Above all, I believe therapy should feel encouraging and hopeful. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, clinical expertise, and support as you move toward healing and the life you want to create.
