Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Shavonne, a passionate and empathetic therapist who enjoys working with women to help them thrive and live a balanced life! My specialities include perinatal mental health (helping mamas navigate their mood and emotions), stress management, and anxiety/depressive symptoms for ALL women.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I typically enjoys discussing my preferred theoretical approach to treatment during the FREE 15-min consultation. My preferred modalities are the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

What you can expect from our first session

I work with women who may be experiencing depression or anxiety related to postpartum, career stress, or challenging family dynamics. During our initial session, we will explore the presenting concerns and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them and move towards thriving. Most of my clients see improvement in symptoms after the first two months of sessions, with long lasting improvements.
