As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 17 years of dedicated service in the community behavioral health system, Shawn has built a career rooted in compassionate care, clinical expertise, and strong leadership. Throughout his extensive career, he has supervised a wide range of critical programs including Outpatient Case Management, Crisis Stabilization, Mobile Crisis Intervention, Supportive Housing, and Employment Services. His experience also includes serving as a Designated Crisis Responder, a role that reflects both clinical depth and commitment to public safety and individual well-being.
Shawn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice from Central Washington University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. His interdisciplinary background enhances his ability to navigate the complex intersection of mental health, social systems, and the law—making him a strong advocate for individuals facing systemic barriers to care.
