Great to meet you!

My approach is client-centered and strength based; using various modalities as best suited for each individual. My journey to becoming a therapist was not a straight line, with many other careers, raising kids, and all that goes with those life stages. I believe that this helps inform my approach and ability to relate to people of many backgrounds and ages.

My approach to therapy

I am primarily interested in learning about each client with an open mind. No judgement here! This does not mean I will not challenge you when needed, but it will be done with kindness and insight.

What you can expect from me

The first session is generally to gain a little information and build rapport. I am aware that I have to earn your trust and that it will take more time with some people than others.
