Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University, 2013. I'm passionate about helping others become the best versions of themselves in order to live their best life. I believe an essential feature of counseling is that I provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere in which you can begin to heal and thrive. I strive to help you identify your strengths and positive traits to help build confidence and self-esteem.

My approach to therapy

I believe that no two people are just alike. As a result, I take a prescriptive approach to helping clients in therapy. Techniques and interventions are tailored to an individual's situations, strengths, and supports. YOU are the expert of your own life. My role is to help you establish goals, identify barriers to those goals, and develop solutions to overcome those barriers.

What you can expect from me

In all honesty, counseling can be a lot of work, and it does take time. However, we cannot heal or progress if we ignore or deny the challenges in our lives. My goal is for clients to feel accepted, validated, and heard in such a way that they are comfortable with the vulnerability it often takes to journey through counseling. Clients can expect empathy, compassion, and open-mindedness as we work together throughout treatment.
