Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist and Director of Behavioral Health with extensive experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship stress, and work-related burnout. I bring a steady, practical presence to therapy. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I focus on helping you build skills you can use in real life, not just insight you can talk about.

I work especially well with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from holding everything together, and with clients who want structure, accountability, and a clear plan while still feeling genuinely understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and skills-based. I tailor therapy to you, your goals, and what has or hasn’t worked in the past. Depending on your needs, I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies.

In plain terms: we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, strengthen coping tools, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels doable. Therapy with me is structured but flexible, with a focus on both immediate relief and long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect a supportive, low-pressure conversation focused on understanding what brought you in and what you want to be different. We’ll review current concerns, relevant history, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping for from therapy. I’ll also ask about safety, stress levels, sleep, and daily functioning so we can build a clear picture.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with:

  • A shared understanding of your main goals
  • A practical plan for next steps
  • At least one strategy or takeaway you can start using right away
