Great to meet you!

Making the decision to seek help can be a monumental task and selecting the right therapist can be challenging. I can provide you with a therapeutic relationship that will feel safe and collaborative so that it can serve as the basis for healing. My goal is to work with you in assessing your strengths, exploring challenges, working to overcome barriers, and returning you to a peaceful and productive state. I will work with you to create a treatment plan that suits your personality and needs. Sometimes, all you need are the right words at the right time to change how you see the world...including yourself.

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My training includes but is not limited to therapeutic modalities of CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Mindfulness. I'm the author of 4 books: Louder Than Bombs, Mighty Words From Mighty Women, Habits of Successful People, and F*ck Happiness.

I understand firsthand how loss, mental health, and addiction can affect every aspect of a person’s life, including their narrative, as I was forced to reevaluate my own narrative when I lost a child to suicide. My focus is on empowering people like you so they can change their narratives and live the life they desire. Let’s get started today!

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Attachment, Jungian, EMDR, and Mindfulness. These modalities help you identify patterns, reframe negative thinking, and develop healthier coping strategies, all while focusing on personal growth.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with me, clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard and understood. Together, we will explore your unique challenges and strengths, with the goal of empowering you to rewrite your narrative and live authentically. You’ll leave each session with practical tools and strategies to manage life's complexities, whether it’s overcoming barriers or embracing personal growth. My focus is on creating an environment where healing, self-discovery, and lasting change can thrive.
