Great to meet you!

I’m a Texas-based psychotherapist and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work and a PhD in a STEM field, and I’ve worked extensively in telehealth setting. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, blending insight with practical, actionable strategies while also attending to the mind–body connection. I specialize in anxiety and stress, emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and life transitions, and I have a particular interest in supporting caregivers/parents and highly sensitive individuals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, blending evidence-based tools with a warm, grounded, and collaborative style. I work at both the insight level and the nervous-system level—helping you understand patterns while also building practical skills for emotional regulation, boundaries, and day-to-day functioning. I tailor treatment to your goals, often drawing from CBT/DBT-informed strategies, attachment and relational work, EMDR for trauma processing, and somatic (mind–body) practices.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to slow down and make sense of what’s been feeling hard. We’ll talk through what brought you in, what you’ve tried so far, and what you hope will change—while also identifying strengths and supports you can build on. I’ll ask focused questions to understand the bigger picture (your history, current stressors, and any repeating patterns) without rushing or pushing beyond what feels safe. By the end, we’ll define a few clear goals and a simple, realistic starting plan for therapy. Most clients leave the first session with more clarity, a sense of relief, and at least one practical strategy to use right away.
