Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 18 years of experience. I am passionate about helping people manage anxiety and stress, let go of what is not serving, heal from past wounds, and improve relationships. I will help you to practice new coping strategies, foster self-understanding, and move towards living a more balanced and fulfilled life aligned with your values.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I spend the first visits getting to know you and to listen to your story. I offer support and encourage a focus on healthy coping skills, recognizing the patterns that are not serving you in your life, and walk with you through overcoming the barriers to living the life you seek.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies which include ACT, MBCT, solution-focused, attachment-based, and mindfulness-based practices, depending on your needs.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients tell me they appreciate having a time each week dedicated to their healing and growth supported by a therapist they can trust and talk freely and openly with. I aim to have my clients feel they can share the most challenging parts of their lives with me and leave feeling some relief and empowered with tools to begin to practice as well as having greater self-understanding and self-compassion.
