Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Shawntelle Fisher, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and practical support. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, foster care and adoption, family conflict, grief, and life transitions, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each person's unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to heal and grow. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Family Systems Therapy (FST), to help clients heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, develop healthy coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change. Together, we'll build on your strengths and create a plan that helps you move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss your strengths, challenges, and any questions you may have about the process. Together, we'll create a plan that fits your needs so you leave with a clear sense of direction and confidence that you're not facing things alone.
