Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I earned my graduate degree from Texas Tech University and have worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, anger, and perinatal mental health concerns. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I take a goal-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy, focusing on practical tools clients can begin using right away in their daily lives. I draw from CBT, ACT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs. I approach therapy with warmth and affirmation, viewing clients as the experts in their own lives. My goal is to empower clients by working alongside them to create meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to begin building a genuine, trusting relationship. I want you to feel valued, heard, and supported as we explore what brings you to counseling. You can expect collaborative goal setting, openness to your feedback, and a thoughtful conversation about what you hope to gain from therapy. I am committed to making sure your time in counseling feels meaningful and well-used.
