Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Shayla Robinson and I have over a decade of experience helping patients overcome their toughest mental health challenges. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable, seen, and truly heard. My approach to therapy is collaborative and encouraging — whether you're navigating life transitions, managing stress, or seeking deeper self-understanding, we'll explore what brings you here at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in solution-focused therapy, addiction recovery, depression, anxiety, trauma-informed care, and family systems. I take a practical and compassionate approach to helping clients find clarity and meaningful change. Additionally, I have completed Phase I training in Brainspotting and am currently working toward Phase II to further enhance my ability to support healing and growth.

I work with adults 18 and older who are facing life transitions and major changes, providing a supportive space to navigate these challenges with clarity and confidence. Change can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone. With over a decade of experience in addiction treatment since 2012 and a background in family and marriage therapy, I offer a compassionate and understanding approach to help individuals and couples heal, grow, and build stronger, healthier relationships.

My communication style is warm, informal, and approachable, creating a relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable and secure. Building strong rapport and practicing active listening are fundamental to my approach—I want every client to feel heard, respected, and valued. I primarily communicate through email or the site platform, as I find it allows for timely and thoughtful responses. This supportive connection is essential in helping clients develop coping strategies, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy should be guided by you—the client. You set the tone, and I follow your lead on what feels most important to discuss in each session. My role is to provide support, insight, and guidance as we navigate your concerns together. Ultimately, my goal is to help you achieve the meaningful changes you seek, empowering you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and laying the foundation for our work together. We'll explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and set the direction for your journey. This is also a space for you to ask any questions—I'm here to ensure you feel comfortable, informed, and confident as we begin this process together.
