Great to meet you!

I'm Shayna, a licensed professional counselor who believes healing is more than personal transformation, it's the beginning of a new legacy. I work with people who are ready to confront life's challenges and break generational cycles, in a space built on both clinical training and lived experience. Every story deserves to be heard, including yours. I'd love to help you begin.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I draw on cognitive behavioral and trauma-focused approaches to help you see how patterns from the past are still showing up today, alongside psychodynamic work that looks beneath the surface of what you're feeling. When family or relationship dynamics are part of the picture, I bring in family systems and narrative approaches so you can see your story with new eyes. I blend this clinical training with real, lived experience, because healing happens best when you feel truly seen, not just treated.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together is a chance to slow down and just be heard. We'll talk through what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping feels different. You don't need to have it all figured out to start, you just need to be ready to begin. You'll leave that first conversation feeling less alone with it, and with a clear next step forward.
