About Me

What should your client know about you?

Hi, I’m Shayna Weil, MA, LPC — a professional counselor based in Colorado. Since completing my Master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University in 2020, I’ve been dedicated to supporting others through life’s ups and downs. I know how heavy the world can feel at times, and I also know how healing it can be to feel truly seen, heard, and connected.

What is your approach to therapy?

I’m passionate about helping people grow, heal, and create more fulfilling lives. My approach is grounded in mindfulness, creativity, and practical skill-building to support lasting, meaningful change.

I primarily work with adults and understand how challenging it can be to unlearn old patterns from childhood. I bring patience, compassion, and trust in the process to every session, meeting clients where they are and walking with them at their own pace.

What can clients expect from their first session with you?

In our first session, I’ll take time to listen to what brought you in and get a sense of what’s been feeling challenging or important for you lately. We’ll move at your pace, explore what you’d like to work on, and begin creating a plan together that feels supportive and realistic for your goals. My goal is to help you feel heard, comfortable, and hopeful about the path forward.
