Great to meet you!

Hey! I'm Shay and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York and I specialize in anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I was born and raised in NYC. I serve individuals and couples between the ages of 18-60 who struggle with communication skills, boundary settings, family and relationship challenges among other challenges who are ready and willing to begin their healing journey.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With over 10 years in the field, I have developed skills to create a comfortable and judge-free space that assists us in narrowing down the challenges and identifying effective goals. My clients have also described my approach as warm, genuine, caring, and approachable.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Homework assignments and skills will be discussed at the end of sessions to ensure clarity of our work.
