A bit about my approach to therapy

Dr. Naurin is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), enabling her to support clients working through trauma, emotional dysregulation, and deeply rooted patterns. Her approach is person centered, grounded in authenticity, empowerment, and a deep commitment to helping clients build resilience, heal, and thrive.

Whether you're coping with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, or life transitions, Shazia offers a safe, nonjudgmental space and a collaborative path forward.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
