Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Shea, it's great to meet you. Over the past decade as a trauma counselor I've developed a specialty in supporting neurodivergent adults and adults living with disability or chronic illness. My approach as a therapist is rooted in creating a reliably safer, more accessible therapy space for people of all backgrounds, including members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, immigrants, and other vulnerable populations.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is something we'll do together, not something done to you. You have the right to be heard, respected, and supported exactly as you are. I adapt evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, to fit you, not the other way around. You don't need to have everything figured out. Just bring yourself... And a charger. You may need a charger.

What you can expect from me

I aim to offer you a comfortable space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. This can be a place where you don't need to have everything figured out or feel pressured to perform, explain, or justify your existence or experiences. If you're wondering whether we may work well together, we can schedule a 15 minute consultation to touch base.
