Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, families, and individuals navigating life transitions, stress, identity development, relationships, and emotional wellness. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients feel grounded, understood, and empowered.

I enjoy working with individuals who are learning how to manage pressure, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and show up more fully in their lives. My background includes therapy, youth development, leadership, coaching, athletics, and community-based care, which allows me to support clients in a way that is practical, relatable, and deeply human.

I use approaches such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based strategies, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based work, and relational support to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, improve communication, and move toward the life they want. While I do support clients with trauma and difficult life experiences, my practice also centers growth, resilience, self-discovery, emotional balance, and purpose.

My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe to be honest, supported in their growth, and encouraged to take meaningful steps forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and strengths-based. I believe each person already possesses resilience, wisdom, and the capacity for growth, and my role is to help clients identify barriers, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges.

I work from a person-centered perspective and integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems-informed practices. I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.

I enjoy helping clients navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, identity development, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and personal growth. I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, student athletes, and individuals striving to balance performance, expectations, and overall well-being.

As a former coach and youth development leader, I understand the pressures that can come with academics, athletics, leadership, and high achievement. I help clients develop healthy coping strategies, improve self-awareness, strengthen communication skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change both on and off the field, court, classroom, or workplace.

Above all, I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to move toward the life they want to build.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a supportive, conversational space focused on getting to know them beyond the challenges that brought them to therapy. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and free from judgment as we begin building a strong therapeutic relationship.

During our first session, we'll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, identify strengths and supports already present in your life, and begin clarifying what you hope to gain from our work together. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, so we'll work together to establish goals that feel meaningful, realistic, and tailored to your unique needs.

You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Whether you're seeking support through a difficult season, looking to develop new coping skills, improve relationships, manage stress or anxiety, strengthen confidence, or gain greater self-understanding, we'll start where you are.

My hope is that clients leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for the work ahead. Over time, our sessions will focus on building practical tools, increasing self-awareness, fostering resilience, and helping you move toward the life you want to create.
