Great to meet you!

I hold a Master’s in Education and work as both a middle school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in private practice. Working daily with adolescents keeps me grounded in the real-world pressures, family dynamics, and emotional hurdles facing young people today—giving me a unique perspective when working with both teens and adults.

I specialize in helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, and trauma. My core values as a therapist are empathy, honesty, and open-mindedness. I don't expect you to have everything figured out before you walk into the room, and I provide a space free of judgment where you can speak candidly about whatever you’re holding.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, authentic, and tailored to who you are as an individual. I don't believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all scripts. Instead, I blend evidence-based techniques with straightforward, honest communication.

  • Empathy First: I listen deeply to make sure you feel heard, validated, and understood before moving toward solutions.
  • Practical & Honest: We will name things as they are. I offer realistic tools to manage anxiety and depression, ground yourself during trauma responses, and build genuine resilience.
  • Open-Minded & Flexible: Therapy is a safe place to explore your thoughts and experiences at a pace that feels secure and manageable for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about creating a low-pressure space for us to get to know each other. We’ll cover:

  • Your Goals & Current Challenges: What brought you to therapy right now, and what relief or changes you hope to see.
  • Background & Context: A high-level overview of your story, history, and current life stressors.
  • Establishing a Plan: We’ll map out how we can work together moving forward, ensuring you feel comfortable with the direction.

You can expect a warm, relaxed conversation—not an interrogation. You’ll leave the first session with a clearer idea of how we’ll tackle your goals together and a solid sense of what our future work will look like.
