Great to meet you!

I am a Licenced Professional Counselor in Texas and National Certified Counselor. I have a Bachelors from the University of California, Berkeley in Social Welfare and African American Studies, a Masters in School Counseling, and a Certification in Contemporary Mental Health Issues from Capella University. I have 20 years of experience working as a mentor, a teacher, and providing guidance to youth and families.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about working with families to improve their dynamics and achieve personal and group goals. I find that helping each person to express themselves and hear the others clearly is a powerful tool. From there the doors of possibility are open to positive change and harmony.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will begin with an introduction and background and then focus on the key areas you'd like to address in counseling so that I can plan for our follow up sessions.
