Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sheera, I have 18 yrs of experience working with people coping with various mental health issues to get to a better place. Since earning my MSW in NYU I have completed trainings in treating anxiety, panic disorder, trauma, grief, parenting and more. I believe that having a safe, nonjudgmental place to explore your feelings is the key to real growth and healing, and strive to provide that to all my clients.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is taylored to your individual needs, starting from doing a thorough assessment to coming up with attainable goals together. The most important part of the work is establishing trust, so honest communication is vital. From there, we can explore your dreams, challenges and feelings to help you get to a better place and achieve better balance in your life.

What you can expect from our first session

Common themes that come up in goal setting include better self care, better emotional regulation, and a clearer sense of direction in coping with challenges. Whether you are struggling with relationships at work or home, increased self compassion and confidence can take you a long way.
