My name is Sheetal Verma-Bueche, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-BACS) licensed in Louisiana, Florida, and Alabama. I have completed my PhD in Human Resource Education and Leadership Development. I work with all age groups, individuals, and families, and specialize in various areas using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion to help clients move toward reaching their goals and start feeling better.
My approach to therapy varies based on where the client wants to start. I believe it is important to meet the client where they are and build on the strengths of an individual. It seems important to help someone see actual change and progress, thus building a shared understanding of their reality allows us to work together to pave a path forward.
Our first session will be mostly you letting me know how you have been feeling (good and bad) and what are some of the reasons you believe you have been feeling this way. The first session is about building a connection and helping us get an idea of what you want to accomplish and next steps to begin.
