Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. I have experience across outpatient, community-based, hospital, crisis, and telehealth settings, which has allowed me to work with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Above all, I want my clients to know that therapy with me is a space where you can show up as yourself—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so my role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns, build practical coping skills, and move toward the changes you want to make. I’ll support you while also gently challenging you when needed, because sometimes growth means getting curious about the things that are no longer working for us. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we’ll work together to find an approach that feels useful and authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really a conversation that allows us to get to know each other and helps me understand what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about what you’re experiencing, when it started, how it has affected your life, and what you’ve tried in the past—including what has and hasn’t been helpful. We’ll also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and what you’d like to work toward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin—I’ll guide the conversation, and we’ll take it from there together.
