Great to meet you!

As a proud first-gen mujer and eldest daughter of immigrant parents, with indigenous roots from Oaxaca. Entiendo lo importante que es tener un espacio en el que te puedes desenvolver. A space in which you can come with all your pedacitos, be held, supported and guided by empathy and love. I understand the complexity of forming your own identity. I understand the silent weight you carry—the pressure to succeed, the expectations to care for others, and the challenge of finding your own voice while honoring your roots. Balancing all of those pedacitos can be exhausting, and it’s easy to put your needs last. Pero quiero recordarte that YOU are fully deserving of living a fulfilling life. A life in which you feel safe to express your emotions, unlearn unhealthy patterns, feel more confident day by day as you learn to nurture and love todos los pedacitos de ti.

My approach to therapy

I provide a compassionate, culturally affirming, non-judgmental space for mujeres experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and navigating everyday life stressors. I use a holistic approach based on your unique needs and life experience, from evidence-based practices such as CBT, brainspotting, to respectfully integrating traditional indigenous wisdom. All to promote and encourage mindful awareness, connecting to your body, your emotions, and your soul. I believe emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being are all interconnected.
