Great to meet you!
Hello! I’m Sheila, a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-)with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD in both veterans and civilians, serious mental illness, addiction, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.
When we work together, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming, and down-to-earth atmosphere. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly formal to be effective. Life is messy, unpredictable, and sometimes downright chaotic—and I understand that firsthand! I lead a busy, wonderfully wild, and fulfilling life, so don’t be surprised if I’ve just fed a goat or wrestled a toddler before our session. I bring that same authenticity and real-life perspective into my work, creating a space where you can show up as your true self, without pressure to have everything figured out.
I believe seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness, and that everyone can benefit from having a safe place to process life’s experiences.
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone, and you don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out. Wherever you are in your journey, we can work together to help you gain clarity, build resilience, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling.
