Great to meet you!

I am a seasoned therapist with over 23 years in the mental health field. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work. I received my LCSW in 2009. I have worked for and with several agencies (i.e. Child Protective Services and Public and Private Health). I am a generalist. I have experience treating individuals with Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Abuse Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Thought Disorders, as well providing couples and family therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to providing therapy is eclectic, as I believe that different clients have different ways of reaching their potential and resolving their issues. I will provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to work on alleviating their mental health symptoms and improving their quality of life, but I also may use questions to help clients identify and reevaluate faulty thinking that may negatively affect their moods and behaviors.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe it is important for the client to feel both respected and safe during a session. My role as a therapist is to foster an environment that encourages openness and promotes trust in both me and the therapeutic process. The goal of each session is to have the client gain personal insight that will help them to become their best self.
