Great to meet you!

Greetings on taking the first step! It takes a lot of courage to be willing to explore and engage in inner work so I acknowledge how difficult this may have been.

As a person returning to the work force in a new career after raising children, I understand how the unknown can be frightening. Due to my unique journey, I find myself in a position of curiosity and openness, approaching with a broad perspective on relationships and life outcomes.

I have worked with children and parents for the last five years but in the recent year have shifted my focus to adolescents and adults who want to improve the way they feel by gaining confidence in their ability to navigate the uncertainties of life.

My approach to therapy

I work from the belief that all humans can build resilience to tolerate life stressors while simultaneously making shifts in our perspectives to change negative patterns. If you are curious and want to explore what's going on for you internally, we will work to understand your motivations and start to unravel the thinking and behavior patterns you are struggling with. In doing this, we develop greater self-awareness and naturally make shifts in interactions, leading to changes in how we perceive our lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect to feel heard and understood. We will focus on building trust, understanding what you are struggling with and identifying your therapy goals.
