Great to meet you!

If you’re carrying the effects of grief, trauma, family violence, or another painful season, you deserve to be met with care and respect. I’m a counselor whose work has been shaped by years of walking alongside people through difficult experiences—as a Licensed Professional Counselor, former hospice chaplain, pastoral caregiver, and legal-aid advocate for survivors and their children. These experiences have taught me to honor each person’s story, recognize the strength it takes to seek support, and meet people without judgment. I hope to offer a welcoming space where you feel heard, valued, and supported as you consider what healing and a fuller life might look like for you.you can feel heard and begin working toward greater safety, healing, and hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and guided by your goals. I may draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to explore patterns between thoughts, feelings, and actions; DBT-informed skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance; ACT to support values-based choices; Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to build on strengths and identify next steps; and family-systems concepts to understand how relationships and life context affect well-being. I select methods intentionally and keep our work consistent with your treatment goals, rather than switching approaches without a clear reason. I’ll explain each method, why I’m suggesting it, and how we can adapt it based on your feedback. My clinical experience includes supporting adults with significant mental-health concerns, including trauma, grief, and complex PTSD, alongside extensive work in hospice chaplaincy, pastoral care, and legal-aid advocacy for survivors and their children.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change, and what support feels most important right now.

I’ll draw on your goals to guide our work and may use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT-informed skills, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, or family-systems concepts.

I’ll explain any method before we use it, invite your feedback, and work with you to keep our sessions consistent and focused. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with clinical experience supporting adults facing significant mental-health concerns, along with extensive experience in pastoral care, hospice chaplaincy, and legal-aid advocacy for survivors and their children.
