My name is Shekeithra McLamb, I am a Licensed Mental health counselor. My therapeutic approach is cognitive behavior. I graduated from Long Island University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling I am also a graduate from Metropolitan College of New York with a MPA Masters in Disaster Management. I also have a CASAC-T to assist substance inflicted persons. I love to work with people and life challenges. I offer a safe non-judgmental space to those who want live better and be happier.

My approach to therapy

Using the latest evidence based techniques in cognitive behavior therapy, I focus on assisting clients with identifying problem behaviors and thoughts that lead to low mood, maladaptive behaviors, thoughts and depression, these are the catalyst for anxiety and other deficits of mood.

What you can expect from me

Each person gets a tailored treatment plan to assist them with managing their life. We will talk through trauma and develop coping skills, explore phobias and work to over come them, dive into interpersonal relationships assisting you with setting boundaries. The overall goal is the help you gain insight about yourself and help you to better yourself.
