Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinician, I seek to empathetically engage with each of my clients so that they feel heard, known, and respected. With six years of experience in multiple stages of treatment ranging from inpatient to PHP, IOP, and OP, I have walked along clients as they rebuild lives that they feel are worth living. Therapy is a personal journey where I partner with my clients to identify goals that will help them see the world and themselves in a new light.

My approach to therapy

It is essential for me to get to know each individual’s background and worldview. During the history taking process, we will process through how family and relationships in the past contributed to how you see the world now. This is crucial in helping clients to understand their blind spots and protection mechanisms that could be contributing to current challenges in their lives. I seek to provide a safe place for clients to be vulnerable while they work towards healing past hurts.

I utilize an integrated approach of DBT and CBT with my individual clients which helps them understand their emotions and thoughts in a healthier way. With my couples, I use EFT to help them rebuild trust and connection as they change the way they communicate.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is always focused on what is going on in your life right now that is overwhelming and distressing to you. I strive to help my clients feel safe as we work together to tackle the challenges that they are facing. The following sessions are focused on continuing to understand their personal background, family, and relationships.
