Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Shelby. I am a licensed social worker with 11 years of professional work experience. I have a Bachelors in Psychology as well as a Masters in Social Work with a focus on mental health. I have worked with clients who are experiencing a wide range of symptoms and challenges, including stress, anxiety, addiction, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, OCD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. I have also worked with clients who have experienced trauma.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is person-centered, and strength based. Your therapy will be tailored to meet your unique and specific needs but one thing I do provide to all my clients across the board is a safe space without judgement. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to share your story, background, and what you would like to achieve in therapy. We will then work together to come up with ways to achieve your goals.
