Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. My approach is warm and direct, grounded in attachment theory and trauma informed care. I help clients understand the patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, and relationships so they can respond to themselves and others with greater clarity and confidence.

Many of the individuals I work with struggle with anxiety, relationship stress, grief, or feeling stuck in cycles of self doubt. Together, we explore how past experiences may still be shaping present reactions while building practical tools to regulate emotions, set healthy boundaries, and strengthen self trust.

I have a strong interest in supporting clients navigating complicated grief, relationship trauma, and major life transitions. My style balances deeper insight oriented work with concrete coping strategies so sessions feel both validating and productive.

Above all, I want clients to feel understood rather than judged and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in attachment theory and trauma informed care. I view symptoms such as anxiety, overthinking, emotional reactivity, or relationship distress as understandable responses to life experiences rather than personal flaws. Together, we explore the underlying patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and confident in daily life.

I integrate insight oriented work with evidence based strategies, including cognitive and behavioral techniques, emotional processing, and nervous system regulation. This allows us to both understand the deeper “why” behind your experiences and develop skills that create real change outside of session.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced thoughtfully. I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and respected, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you develop stronger self awareness, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of stability and self trust.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative space where we begin getting to know one another. I will ask questions about what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope might feel different in your life. This initial conversation helps me understand your story, your strengths, and the areas where you may be feeling stuck.

We will also review relevant history at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. My goal in the first session is not to solve everything, but to create a foundation of safety and clarity so we can begin meaningful work together.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how I work, what our focus may be moving forward, and an opportunity to ask any questions you have. Most importantly, you should leave feeling heard, respected, and supported.
