Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 20 years of experience helping children, adults, and families navigate life's challenges. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work and have dedicated my career to supporting clients in building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

I work with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, anger management concerns, ADHD, family conflict, and self-esteem challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that every person has unique strengths, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

When working with children, I incorporate my training in play therapy to help them express emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and work through challenges in developmentally appropriate ways. I also enjoy partnering with families to strengthen communication, build positive relationships, and support growth both at home and in everyday life.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking nature walks, and relaxing with my cat. These personal interests help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and self-care values I encourage my clients to cultivate in their own lives.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I look forward to working alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs by drawing from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy, Psychoeducational Family Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. Together, we build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will complete the intake process, which includes reviewing your background information, including relevant family, medical, and mental health history. We will also complete any necessary screening assessments and review informed consent forms. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, identify your goals, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs and priorities.
