Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in providing therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex PTSD and interpersonal issues. In addition to my degrees in Psychology, I also have a graduate degree in Theology and post-graduate training in somatic approaches. I am prepared to join you as you pursue healing in all aspects of your self: mind, body and spirit. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and collaborative.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have an integrative, holistic approach to therapy that is centered in my relationship with each client. Depending on your needs and preferences, I often use somatic approaches, imagery, and mindfulness practices that can provide you with new learning about yourself. I often help people make connections between their current thoughts and behaviors and early life experiences, which allows the opportunity for change in the present. I believe in the importance of learning and practicing skills to regulate emotions and behaviors. And I know that the deep work goes beyond skills and requires knowing all parts of self in a witnessing, safe environment.

What you can expect from our first session

Depending on your needs, you will leave each session with new skills, new experiences of yourself, or new ideas for change in the days ahead.
