Great to meet you!

I have been told that I am warm, creative, intuitive, humorous and loyal. I have also heard words like “gentle with a warrior spirit.” I am fierce on behalf of my clients. Some of the professional titles over the years: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Case Manager, Workshop Facilitator, Faculty, Academic Advisor, Career Counselor and Life Coach. In my life and work, I seek to create a safe and honoring space for others to experience life changes and to navigate vulnerable moments.

My approach to therapy

As your counselor, I will help you connect the dots in your story. I believe everyone has a unique story - with both darkness and beauty. I come alongside others in their healing process. Together, we can create a plan to bring more inner peace and wholeness into your life.

One of the ways that I work as a counselor is that I pay attention to you. In this busy world, focused attention is unfortunately rare. My goal in working with you is to listen to you and see you well and enable you to see yourself and your life more clearly.

What you can expect from me

I know it can be scary to reach out for help. In the first session, I will make sure you are comfortable. We will discuss your goals for therapy and work on a plan together. I will also do an intake with you in order to get important information that will help us in our work together.
