Great to meet you!

Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I spent 14 years working as a critical care nurse. That time taught me how much courage it takes to face health challenges and how important compassion and listening are in the healing process. I went on to complete my psychiatric nurse practitioner training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and later earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Chatham University. With over 20 years of experience in nursing, I bring both medical expertise and a human, down-to-earth approach to my work.

My approach to therapy

My style is holistic and collaborative: I create medication management plans that feel personalized and sustainable. Above all, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move toward their goals. I am not offering talk therapy sessions at this time.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. My goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling truly heard and with a clearer sense of direction. We’ll work together to understand what’s getting in the way of your well-being and create a plan that feels doable for you. Clients often tell me they walk away with practical tools they can use right away, along with a renewed sense of hope and confidence in moving forward.
