Great to meet you!

I am an open minded non judgmental therapist who focuses on empathy, support and comfort for my clients. I also try to engage my clients in setting goals that will help feel like progress is being made that is meaningful to them. I strive to build a relationship that fosters growth.

My approach to therapy

I use a number of approaches and have an eclectic background. I combine empathy with goal setting. I have training in family systems so I like to understand how a family may have shaped the client into the person they've become. I also like to consider how current dynamics may contribute to a person's functioning.

What you can expect from me

In a first session I like to gather a comprehensive history and fully understand all of the factors that may be impacting the presenting concern.
