I am Shelly Clavis a doctoral-prepared, dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with over 11 years of clinical experience.

I completed my Master’s degree in Family Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), followed by a Postgraduate Certification in Psychiatric Nursing from Wilkes University, Pennsylvania. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with honors from Rutgers University.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Throughout my career, I have been committed to improving patient outcomes by utilizing a holistic approach that considers the physical, mental, and emotional health of individuals. I provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan, integrating both primary care and mental health services in treating patients' with Substance Use disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar and more.
