Great to meet you!

Does life feel overwhelming, complicated, and exhausting? Are you navigating the pressures of everyday stress, working through challenges in your relationships, or simply feeling like something needs to shift? You don't have to figure it out alone, I'm here to walk alongside you!

I have a deep passion for helping children, teens, adults, and senior adults find their footing, rediscover their strengths, and build lives that feel truly meaningful. I offer counseling via Telehealth, so you can access professional support from your own home - wherever life finds you!

My approach to therapy

Our relationships, work, school, and life experiences can and do take a toll on our mental and physical well-being. Reducing stressors, learning healthy coping skills, and being true to our authentic selves is a journey that can be optimized with therapy.

My focus as your guide is to use evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, meditation, motivational interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and referrals to massage therapy for bodywork.

I have extensive experience utilizing Play Therapy to guide children in resolving stress, grief and loss, and a Family Systems approach to helping families through challenging times with children, teens and young adults.

With younger children, I focus on the discovery of who they are as young people. Adolescents desire to be understood and to understand. I utilize a compass as a framework to hurdle the challenges of finding their true selves.

Utilizing the metaphor of a horizon for adults and older adults, we will focus on self-reflection and utilizing the tools in therapy to live your best life!

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want to explore getting to know you, your background, culture, family, work and hobbies and of course what brought you to therapy today. I learn about what you have already tried to tackle your current situation and your overall goals for therapy solutions. The first session can feel anxiety producing, so there will be no pressure to "tell me everything" and what's most important is that you decide if I'm the right therapist for YOU!
