Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with an additional 12 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have over 25 years of healthcare experience caring for patients across the lifespan in both medical and mental health settings.

I provide evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

I believe that mental health care should be individualized, practical, and focused on helping people function better in their daily lives, relationships, and careers.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I take time to understand each client’s unique experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals before developing a treatment plan.

I believe successful treatment involves more than simply prescribing medication. Together, we will explore lifestyle factors, coping skills, stressors, medical concerns, and therapeutic strategies that may affect mental health. When medication is appropriate, I carefully explain options, benefits, and potential side effects so clients can make informed decisions about their care.

My goal is to help clients achieve meaningful improvement while building long-term skills that support emotional wellness and resilience.

What you can expect from me

  1. The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to treatment. We will review your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, life circumstances, and treatment goals. Clients can expect a thorough evaluation, an opportunity to ask questions, and a discussion about possible treatment recommendations. Depending on your needs, this may include medication options, therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, or additional assessments. My goal is for you to leave the first appointment feeling heard, understood, and with a clear plan for moving forward.
