Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My practice is rooted in creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I draw from evidence‐based approaches and tailor each session to your unique needs, pace, and goals. My background includes extensive work with individuals impacted by substance use -whether their own or a loved one’s- and helping clients build healthier patterns, emotional stability, and clarity in their daily lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in curiosity. I integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and solution‐focused strategies to help you understand your emotional patterns and develop practical tools for change. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to explore what’s beneath the surface so you can move toward feeling more regulated, confident, and connected. I believe you are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to help you feel safe enough to explore it, supported enough to challenge what isn’t working, and empowered enough to build what you want next.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other and building comfort. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to gain, and anything that feels important for me to understand about your life or current stressors. I move at your pace - some clients prefer to dive right into their concerns, while others need time to settle in and build rapport first. You can expect a calm, validating environment where you’re not rushed, where your feelings are taken seriously, and where we begin shaping a direction for therapy that feels supportive, manageable, and aligned with your needs.
