Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience with adolescents, adults, and families. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialty in family therapy, and have worked in residential substance abuse, college counseling, and private practice settings since 1980, as a general practitioner and from an integrative culturally-sensitive orientation.

My approach to therapy

My clients describe me as warm, authentic, caring, and direct. I like helping people with anxiety, mood disorders, relationships, and thriving through change. I think therapy should be about adding skills, choices, and flexibility in the context of a safe, supportive space to be you.

What you can expect from me

My goals for therapy are that you feel understood and cared for and start to see improvements in your life, your feelings, your relationships. Clients often experience relief and symptom improvement in the first four session. My goals for therapy are to help you feel empowered, with a better understanding and appreciation for yourself, and with additional skills that work for you.
