Great to meet you!
Let me introduce myself!
I have been in the social work field for over 30 years, serving several different populations. I began working with survivors of domestic violence early in my social work career. Then, I worked with seniors facing changes in daily functioning; they often were fearful of losing their independence and lifestyles. I supported their family members, who were trying to navigate these changes logistically while grieving the losses in their loved one's functioning or cognition. Currently, I work with students in the university setting.
Each client demographic has shown me that life presents us with different challenges at different stages of life, and can be so overwhelming that we can find ourselves paralyzed, not knowing in which way to turn.
Therapy can provide you with direction; your belief systems, your support systems and your strengths, as the backdrop for us to determine the best path forward for you. I would love to walk with you a while and help you find your best path to the life you want.
