Great to meet you!

My approach is grounded in the belief that healing and growth are possible for everyone, regardless of where they start from. I bring a blend of personal experience, education, and professional expertise to my work, all while fostering a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore and address their concerns.

Educational and Professional Background:

I earned a Master of Arts in Psychology degree from University of Arizona Global Campus and continued my education at South University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I honed both my clinical skills and my deep understanding of human behavior. I have 7 years of working experience in mental and behavioral health.

Areas of Expertise and Populations Served:

I specialize in anxiety, depression, burnout, identity shifts, caregiver stress, grief and loss, trauma recovery, life transitions, relationship issues, and I have experience working with individuals across a wide spectrum of backgrounds. In particular, I have worked with the incarcerated populations, adults, military families, and those in alcohol and drug addiction recovery.

Personal Context:

I understand that taking the step to seek counseling can be difficult, and I aim to create a comfortable and empathetic environment where clients feel heard and understood. Having faced my own challenges with grief, burnout, and depression, I am deeply empathetic to the struggles that many of my clients face. My journey has helped me realize that we all have the power to create change, and sometimes we just need a little support to help unlock that potential.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to explore your inner world, examine patterns that no longer serve you, and build the tools needed for long-term well-being.

My approach is also holistic, recognizing the interconnectedness of emotional, mental, and physical health, and I work collaboratively with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
