Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am compassionate, supportive, and committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can be themselves. I bring over 21 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, and I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I meet clients where they are and tailor each session to their unique needs, using approaches such as play therapy and cognitive-behavioral strategies. I focus on helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen their confidence. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to grow and make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where they feel safe to share at their own pace. During the first session, I focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and identifying your goals for therapy. We may begin discussing coping strategies or supports that can be helpful right away. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the next steps and feel comfortable moving forward together.
