Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shequita Daniels, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 15 years of experience in community and inpatient mental health settings. I specialize in supporting adults facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use challenges.

My approach is person-centered, empowering, and culturally responsive. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore emotions, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with their sense of purpose. I also integrate faith-based support if desired, and emphasize self-care as a vital part of the healing journey.

Whether you’re navigating a tough season or seeking long-term support, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward healing, growth, and balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible. I work from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective, creating a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without judgment.

I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for individuals who want to incorporate spiritual beliefs into their growth.

I emphasize self-care as a vital part of the healing process and help individuals build the tools needed to set healthy boundaries, manage stress, and reconnect with their sense of purpose. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, mental health challenges, or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you in showing up fully for yourself and living a more self-full life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and more equipped to care for themselves emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. My goal is to help you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create sustainable routines that support your overall well-being.

You’ll learn how to set and maintain healthy boundaries, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and reconnect with your strengths and purpose. Sessions are collaborative and focused on your unique needs, whether you're managing a diagnosis, healing from trauma, or seeking clarity during a difficult season.

I strive to create a safe, culturally responsive space where you can show up fully as yourself—free from judgment and pressure. Therapy with me is about progress, not perfection, and I’ll walk alongside you as you move toward greater peace, self-awareness, and empowerment.
